The EU Portability Regulation allows customers across the European Economic Area (EEA) to access any online content available to them in their home country when travelling to other countries within the EEA. This means that customers can enjoy the same content as they do at home when they are in another EU country. The regulation applies only to travel between EEA countries.
Cross-border portability was revoked in the UK from 23rd December 2020. This means that the EU Portability Regulation will not apply to UK-EEA travel from 1 January 2021.
