About the Giro d'Italia
Falling in May, the Giro d’Italia draws the Spring Classics to a close and welcomes in the start of the much-anticipated Grand Tour season. Gone are the cobbled bergs of Northern Europe and in are the cloud-topping mountains of the Italian Alps and Dolomites. This is the time of the year where we see the climbers finally emerge, all vying for the same coveted prize - the maglia rosa.
