If you're having a problem with the GCN App on a smart TV, the below steps should help.
Android TV:
If you are having problems with our Android TV app, you can try the following:
- Log out of the GCN App.
- Uninstall the app from your device.
- Verify that the OS (operating system) of the device is updated by:
- Pressing the 'HOME' button.
- Select the 'Apps' icon.
- Select 'Help'.
- Select 'System Software Update'.
- Select 'Software Update'.
- Turn your TV on and off by powering it down from the mains (putting it on standby may not work so please ensure you turn the power off completely).
- Reinstall the app.
- Login to the GCN App again.
Samsung TV
If you are having problems with our Samsung TV app, you can try the following:
- Log out of the GCN App.
- Uninstall the app from your device.
- Press the 'Home' button on your remote control.
- Select 'Apps'.
- Select 'Settings'.
- Select the 'GCN App' and press 'Delete'.
- Verify that the OS (operating system) of the device is updated by:
- Pressing the 'Menu' button.
- Select 'Support'.
- Select 'Software Update'.
- Select 'Update Now'.
- Turn your TV on and off by powering it down from the mains (putting it on standby may not work so please ensure you turn the power off completely).
- Reinstall the app.
- Login to the GCN App again.
